Tasks and Responsibilities
Plan freight movement of cargo.
Coordinate the freight movement and customs clearance.
Cost freight movement and prepare service estimates.
Arrange insurance cover and process claims.
Process administration related to the shipment file.
Effect creditors’ disbursements and process debtor’s invoices.
Process Customs and other statutory documents required for customs
clearance.
Forwarding of shipment.
Responsible for Transport coordination.
Comply with the requirements of the quality management system.
Advantages
Have specialist knowledge of freight forwarding and clearing documents, procedures and practices gained through at least a minimum of 7 years related experience in Seafreight/Airfreight Import and Export controlling capacity.
Sound knowledge of Shipshape systems.
