Tasks and Responsibilities
- Plan freight movement of cargo.
- Coordinate the freight movement and customs clearance.
- Cost freight movement and prepare service estimates.
- Arrange insurance cover and process claims.
- Process administration related to the shipment file.
- Effect creditors’ disbursements and process debtor’s invoices.
- Process Customs and other statutory documents required for customs clearance.
- Forwarding of shipment.
- Responsible for Transport coordination.
Comply with the requirements of the quality management system
Advantages
- Have specialist knowledge of freight forwarding and clearing documents, procedures and practices gained through at least a minimum of 7 years related experience in Seafreight/Airfreight Import and Export controlling capacity.
- Sound knowledge of Shipshape
